Information
This is the bulk / high volume Duo?Pak version of the DP8910NS nylon-bonder. It retains the same chemically toughened, non-sag, two part acrylic chemistry that can bond nylon, aluminum, stainless steel, and other plastics with minimal surface prep. The 10 minute work life provides time for accurate alignment, the adhesive then develops handling strength in ~16 minutes at room temperature. Heat (e.g., up to ~66?°C) can accelerate cure. The cured bond resists environmental stressors such as humidity, salt spray and thermal cycling. Due to its ability to bond plastic to metal structurally, engineers in aircraft maintenance use it for repair or assembly of nylon parts (e.g., fittings, fasteners) where rivets or mechanical fixings may not be ideal.
