DP8910NS (nylon bonder) is a non-flammable, two part structural acrylic adhesive formulated for strong bonding to nylon, engineered thermoplastics, aluminium, and stainless steel with minimal surface prep (no plasma or flame treatment required). The mix ratio is 10:1, and the adhesive contains spacer beads (~0.010″ / 0.25?mm) to control bond line thickness. It has a 10 minute open time to allow positioning, then achieves handling strength in about 16 minutes at room temperature (~22?°C / 72?°F). Full cure in 24?h at 22?°C, and it can be heated (up to ~66?°C / 150?°F) to accelerate cure. The cured adhesive is durable, resists humidity and salt spray, and retains strength under thermal cycles. In aerospace MRO, it’s especially useful where plastic (nylon) components need structural bonding to metal, or where high performance plastics need tough adhesive joints.
