DP8805NS is a two-part, toughened, non-sag acrylic adhesive in a 10:1 mix ratio. Its 4 minute work life allows positioning before curing, and it develops ~1,000?psi (≈?7?MPa) overlap shear strength in ~9?minutes at 23?°C. It contains spacer beads to precisely control bond line thickness (optimum between ~0.005″–0.020″ / ~0.13–0.51?mm), which helps maximise strength. The adhesive is non-flammable and low odor, improving workplace safety, with a long shelf life (18 months at room temperature). It can be cured faster under heat (e.g., up to ~66?°C / 150?°F accelerates cure). In aerospace MRO, it’s used to create strong, reliable joints quickly, reducing fixture and assembly times.
