Information
This is the bulk 490?mL version of DP8005 Black, ideal for higher volume applications. It has the same 10:1 mix ratio and short work life (~2.5–3 minutes) as the smaller pack, with handling strength achieved in 2–3 hours and full cure in 8–24 hours at 23?°C (73?°F). Spacer beads (~0.20?mm / 0.008?in) ensure precise and consistent bond line thickness. The cured adhesive is durable and resistant to water, humidity, and chemical exposure. Aerospace engineers use it to replace mechanical fasteners or plastic welding in larger assemblies such as fairings, interior panels, or polymer substructures, providing reliable structural bonds that reduce stress concentrations and assembly weight.
