DP105 from 3M is a tough, flexible epoxy that retains high shear and peel strength once cured, making it ideal for dynamic aerospace environments. Its flexibility accommodates different thermal expansion rates of bonded substrates, reducing stress under thermal cycling or vibration. It’s almost transparent cure makes it suitable for cosmetic or visible joints, while its ability to bond without significant shrinkage and with good adhesion to metals, plastics and composites gives engineers a reliable structural adhesive.
