Installation & Handling
- Shake thoroughly before use to fully resuspend developer particles
- Apply only by spray application
- Inspect parts only after excess penetrant has been removed and surfaces are completely dry
- Apply a light, slightly wet and uniform coating
- Two or three light coats are preferred over one heavy application
- Avoid excessive developer build-up which may mask indications
- Allow at least 5 minutes before final inspection interpretation
- For extremely fine discontinuities, inspection times greater than 30 minutes may be beneficial
- Can be removed using water or a clean cloth after inspection
