Overview
The Babbco RC55 solution is a chemical product for safe removal of corrosion from metallic aircraft structural components. Engineers apply RC55 to corroded areas, allow it to treat the surface, then flush and dry before subsequent inspection, priming, and finishing. This process prevents further corrosion spread and maintains structural integrity of aircraft airframes.
Applications
- Targeted corrosion removal from small aircraft components
- Preparation of metallic surfaces for inspection and protective coatings
