The Britemor?760 product from Chemetall is a bright chrome free conversion coating designed for aerospace metal surface treatment. In modern MRO, using chrome free coatings is increasingly preferred for environmental and regulatory reasons while maintaining performance. This product allows aircraft engineers to treat aluminium, magnesium or titanium surfaces to achieve a conversion layer that enhances adhesive/paint bond and offers corrosion inhibition for long term durability. In aircraft MRO workflows, Britemor?760 is applied to sandblasted or mechanically prepared metal surfaces before primer application or composite adhesive bonding, thus playing a critical role in corrosion prevention, particularly in airframe structural refurbishment.
