Senior Sales Executive

Reporting To:

Customer Support Manager

Hours of Work:

Full-time, Monday to Friday

Any time between 6:00am – 7:00pm

37.5 hours per week (additional weekday or weekend hours may be required).


Job Purpose

You will serve as a point of contact for customers with queries relating to products, orders and deliveries and provide support for sales team. Our ideal candidate is goal-oriented and has a deep knowledge of customer service best practices. Ultimately, you should be able to contribute to high quality customer service and achieve challenging sales targets.

Nature and Scope

  • Win sales orders while ensuring that the maximum values are obtained for the company as part of the quoting and sales process
  • Support the achievements and growth of Aerospheres sales goals and objectives
  • Ensure that goods are correctly entered on sales orders and on time as quoted to customers and submit regular reports of non-conformity to the Quality Team
  • Ensure that a high level of customer service is given to all customers
  • A high-pressure job; which requires extreme focus, dedication and stamina
  • You are expected to work out of office hours when required
  • Any other duties assigned by the management; where appropriate

Key Responsibilities

  • Selling multiple product lines to customers
  • Sales orders – entering and managing orders
  • Quotations – creating and sending quotes to customers
  • Communicate important feedback from customers internally
  • To aid the company to meet sales targets and report any deviations
  • Stay up-to-date with new products and features
  • Maintain and update sales and customer records
  • Filing
  • Purchasing – as and when required to create and send new orders to our suppliers

Competencies and Key Skills

  • Proven work experience as a Sales support or Sales administrator with the ability to sell
  • Strong mathematical, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Project and time management skills
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines
  • Bachelor’s degree in aerospace industry or a related discipline; applicants without a degree but with several years of sales experience will also be considered
  • Certification in sales, marketing or relevant field is a plus
  • Experience in the aerospace industry will also be seen as an advantage
  • Passionate and full of energy
