Overview

HumiSeal® 1B73 Can is a fast-drying, clear acrylic conformal coating supplied in a tin can and designed for protection of printed circuit assemblies (PCAs). The coating provides excellent moisture, electrical, and environmental protection while allowing easy application and inspection through an integrated UV tracer system. The coating is removable using HumiSeal® Stripper 1080 and is compliant with key electronics protection standards.

Application Guidelines

• Allow cold-stored cans to reach room temperature for at least 48 hours before use
• Ensure surfaces are clean and free from dirt, wax, grease, and flux residues
• Mask areas that do not require coating using suitable non-silicone masking materials
• Apply in light, even coats from approximately 30–40 cm distance
• Target coating thickness: 25–75 microns
• Clean spray nozzle after use by inverting the can and spraying briefly
