Overview

HumiSeal® 1B73 Aerosol is a fast-drying, clear acrylic conformal coating designed for protection of printed circuit assemblies (PCAs). Supplied in a convenient aerosol format, the coating provides excellent moisture, electrical, and environmental protection while allowing easy application and inspection through an integrated UV tracer system. The coating is removable using HumiSeal® Stripper 1080 and is compliant with key electronics protection standards.

Application Guidelines

• Allow cold-stored aerosol cans to reach room temperature for at least 48 hours before use
• Ensure surfaces are clean and free from dirt, wax, grease, and flux residues
• Mask areas that do not require coating using suitable non-silicone masking materials
• Shake aerosol can thoroughly before use and periodically during application
• Apply in light, even coats from approximately 30-40 cm distance
• Target coating thickness: 25-75 microns
• Clean spray nozzle after use by inverting can and spraying briefly
