    Overview

    HumiSeal® 1B51NSLU is a fast-drying, single-component synthetic rubber conformal coating designed to protect electronic assemblies from moisture, contamination, and environmental exposure. Formulated with a more environmentally friendly methylcyclohexane solvent system, it provides extremely low moisture vapour permeability, excellent flexibility, low mechanical stress on components, and easy repairability. The coating fluoresces under UV light, allowing efficient inspection of coverage and defects.

    Application Methods

    Dipping

    • Reduce viscosity using HumiSeal® Thinner 903, 905, or 521EU when required
    • Recommended immersion and withdrawal rate: 5-15 cm/min
    • Monitor viscosity during processing and adjust with thinner as required

    Spraying

    • Suitable for conventional spray equipment
    • Requires adequate ventilation during application
    • Recommended thinner ratio: 1:1 by volume with HumiSeal® Thinner 903, 905, or 521EU
    • Adjust thinner ratio and spray pressure according to equipment and application conditions

    Brushing

    • Suitable for small areas and repair applications
    • May require small additions of HumiSeal® Thinner

    • Substrate must be clean, dry, and free from grease, moisture, flux residues, and contaminants
    • Compatibility testing recommended when applied over no-clean assembly materials
