HumiSeal® Stripper 1080 Series is a range of specialised stripping agents designed to dissolve cured HumiSeal® acrylic conformal coatings without damaging printed wiring board substrates or electronic components. The series provides multiple formulations to suit different coating types and regional requirements while maintaining compliance with RoHS Directive EU 2015/863.

Application Procedure

• Immerse PCB assembly or component into HumiSeal Stripper 1080 Series product
• Allow coating to dissolve depending on thickness and age
• Normal cured acrylic coatings dissolve within approximately 30 minutes at room temperature
• Keep container covered to minimise solvent evaporation
• After stripping, wash assembly thoroughly with:
• Isopropyl alcohol
• Deionised water
• Or another approved cleaning process
• Oven dry assembly for minimum 30 minutes at 66°C before recoating
