Information
Naftoseal?MC?780 (Class A) is Chemetall’s aerospace grade sealant. The A?2 variant cures via manganese dioxide and delivers excellent resistance to both jet fuel and aviation gasoline. It is formulated to remain functional over a wide temperature range (service from –55?°C up to +130?°C, with short temperature peaks to +182?°C) and can be applied by extrusion, injection gun, brush or spatula. Due to its low density (especially Class A), it is well suited for fuel tanks where weight is critical. After application, it cures to a flexible, resilient seal, retaining bond strength on aluminium, steel, titanium, composite and coated surfaces.
