Information
Naftoseal?MC?238 B?2 is a high grade, liquid polysulfide sealant that cures to a resilient, flexible seal. It exhibits strong adhesion to aluminium, titanium, steel and coated composites, and retains bond strength under extremes of temperature, vibration, and environmental stress. The “B?2” variant indicates a 2 hour working time at 23?°C, and after full cure (14?h tack free, ~48?h to reach Shore A 35) it provides durable sealing. The paste is thixotropic, allowing easy application through extrusion guns or spatulas and has good tooling characteristics. The cure can be accelerated by gentle heating (up to ~60?°C / 140?°F) to speed up processing in production or repair contexts.
