SURFACER FR4-45
Overview
SURFACER FR4-45 is a three-component, water-based polyurethane surfacer developed for aircraft cabin interiors. It is designed to fill and correct surface imperfections such as pinholes on composite and thermoplastic substrates prior to the application of approved fire-retardant topcoats including FR2-55, FR6-55, FRC and DI-TEX.

- Thermoplastics: Sand using P240–P400 abrasive paper
- Phenolic composites: Sand using P100–P180 abrasive paper
- Clean using lint-free cloth
- Use Isopropanol for thermoplastic or phenolic substrates
- Acetone or MEK may be used only on phenolic substrates
- Ensure surfaces are clean and dry before application
