Overview

Airocril® Green 989-6601 is a water-based, low-VOC temporary protective coating developed to protect aluminium aircraft components during manufacturing, assembly and transportation. Formulated from an acrylic copolymer emulsion, it provides a hard, abrasion-resistant coating with excellent slip characteristics, weatherability and protection against water spotting and environmental contamination. Once no longer required, the coating can be easily removed using approved Transseal® removal products without damaging the underlying aircraft surface.

• Apply only when substrate and ambient temperatures are above 18°C
• Protect product from freezing during storage and transport
• Do not shake the product, as this may introduce air bubbles
• Stir thoroughly before application if left standing
• Refer to the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) before use

• Surface must be clean, dry and free from contamination
• Recommended Application Temperature: 21-35°C
• Minimum Application Temperature: 18°C

• Air Dry: 30-60 minutes at 25°C
• Optional Oven Cure: Flash 10-20 minutes, then cure for 30-60 minutes at 57-82°C
