Overview

Castrol Braycote™ 236 is a soft, reddish-brown technical grade petrolatum developed for light-duty lubrication, corrosion protection and preservation applications. Forming a flexible, translucent protective coating, it provides effective temporary protection of metal components and can be easily removed using solvents or steam cleaning. It is commonly used as a light lubricating grease and as a constituent in petrolatum-based rust preventative compounds for aerospace, military and industrial applications.
