Overview

Pasa-Jell™ 101 is a thixotropic gel formulated from a blend of mineral acids, activators and inhibitors for the cleaning and passivation of stainless steel. It removes corrosion products and embedded contaminants that can initiate pitting corrosion while forming a thin, corrosion-resistant oxide layer on the metal surface. The gel can also be used for the controlled removal of anodized coatings from aluminium, making it well suited for aerospace manufacturing, fabrication and maintenance operations.
