Overview
Loctite 262 is a high-strength anaerobic threadlocker. It cures between close-fitting metal surfaces in the absence of air to form a durable polymer that resists vibration, shock, and chemical exposure. Ideal for aerospace engineers securing high-load fasteners on structural joints, engine assemblies, fittings, or other critical vibratory hardware. Some applications may not require mechanical lock-wiring depending on OEM specifications. Once cured, disassembly often requires heat or high torque.
