Microlite® AA Blankets provide lightweight, flexible insulation for critical weight and space considerations. Featuring a flame-resistant phenolic binder, they ensure excellent dimensional stability. An optional water-repellent additive addresses high-altitude moisture, while a plain phenolic binder can be chosen for moisture-free environments. Made from borosilicate 902 biosoluble glass fibers, these blankets offer efficient thermal and acoustical insulation up to 450°F, making them ideal for aerospace applications, especially in insulating fuselage wall cavities of commercial and private aircraft.
