FM300-2M-0.06/50 (1-sqft-Roll) is a lightweight material designed for aviation applications, providing superior thermal insulation and protection against extreme temperatures in aircraft interiors.

    Information

FM300-2M-0.06/50 (1-sqft-Roll) is a 250°F (121°C) cure version of Solvay’s widely used FM 300 film adhesive. Offering comparable high-temperature performance, toughness, and stress/strain properties to the original FM 300, FM300-2M-0.06/50 eliminates the need for a 350°F (177°C) cure cycle.

    Key features:
    • Compatibility: Ideal for co-cure and secondary composite bonding applications, and compatible with a wide range of thermoset and thermoplastic composite systems.
    • Consistent Performance: Demonstrates similar stress/strain properties to FM300 film adhesive under dry and wet conditions up to 220°F (104°C).
    • Superior Resilience: Exhibits excellent moisture and corrosion resistance, maintaining mechanical properties even in high humidity environments.
    • Proven Track Record: Backed by over 25 years of successful flight history, ensuring reliability and trustworthiness.
    Applications:

FM300-2M-0.06/50 was specifically designed for co-cure and secondary composite bonding applications, including co-cure composite bonding, secondary composite bonding, and vacuum-only processing commonly used in repairs.

Take composite bonding to new heights with Solvay's FM300-2M-0.06/50.
