PR-1776M Class B is a low-density, high-temperature aircraft fuel tank sealant that provides up to 20% weight savings while delivering excellent fuel resistance, flexibility, and adhesion for aerospace sealing applications.

Key Features
Reduces weight by up to 20% per unit volume compared to traditional sealants while maintaining excellent fuel resistance and high flexibility across a wide temperature range. Provides superior adhesion to aluminum, titanium, and primed surfaces with a low-sag, thixotropic paste suitable for extrusion or spatula application.
Applications
Designed for integral fuel tank and fuselage sealing in weight-critical aerospace structures. Suitable for both OEM and MRO environments.
Surface Preparation
Clean substrates with approved solvents using lint-free wipes to remove grease, oils, and residues. Surfaces should be progressively cleaned and dried prior to application to prevent redeposition. Adhesion testing is recommended for new substrates.
Packing & Mixing
Available in two-part Semkit� packages, two-part can kits, or pre-mixed frozen cartridges. Mix Parts A and B separately, then combine and blend thoroughly, scraping container sides and bottom. Apply promptly after mixing.
Storage Life
Semkit� and can kits: minimum 9 months at 40�80�F (4.5�27�C). Pre-mixed frozen cartridges: 28 days at �40�F (�40�C).
Performance Highlights
Specific gravity: 1.29; nonvolatile content: 94%; ultimate hardness: 50 Shore A; tensile strength: 263 psi; elongation: 366%. Fuel immersion tensile strength: 269 psi; elongation: 439%. Low-temperature flexibility: no cracking at �65�F (�54�C). Weight loss (7-day JRF @ 140�F): 4.7%. Fungus resistance: non-nutrient.

Alodine aluminum: 41 pli (180 N/25 mm); titanium comp B: 36 pli (158 N/25 mm); epoxy primer BMS 10-20 Grade A: 42 pli (184 N/25 mm).
